Hello there! Hereby I continue to review wedding venues in Santorini. Last time I was telling you about Dana Villas wedding venue and its features. Today I am giving you some information about Villa Irini wedding venue. The venue is located almost directly above the new port and has an excellent view of a large part of the caldera, from the volcano up to Oia on the northern end of the island.
Getting there is easy: just drive in directly from the main road leading from Fira to the New Port. There are parking places for the venue’s customers, so a few cars can be parked without problem. A loving couple will have a special parking point for one or two cars. From this point, a staircase goes directly to the site of the ceremony.
The ceremony takes place in a permanent gazebo made of light fabric. The venue has very diverse topography: it can host a lot of guests benefiting from venue’s different levels. These levels are also highly appreciated by Santorini wedding photographers. As lots of stairs, passages and aisles allow the wedding photographer to select any viewing and shooting angle he/she needs.
Villa Irini wedding venue offers standard additional services: you can ask for minor refreshments, use the fridge for keeping the wedding cake and the other food etc. A toilet and other necessary things go without saying. 🙂 Hotel’s multilevel location provides great opportunities for a photo shoot at almost any time of the day: starting from the bright morning till the dramatic sunset which is finely observed from here. Villa Irini rental prices are average or even a bit low in comparison with the other venues when counting per hour.
